MySewingClubs

  • This area of WWSewing.com is scheduled to open this Winter.
  • Educators from all over the world will be opening clubs for you to learn all aspects of sewing, quilting and embroidery.
  • Each club will cost only $5.00US monthly and you will be able to talk to your teacher through Private Messenging in addition to the club's private forum.
  • Take the classes from the comfort of our own home at any time of the day or night.

MySewingClubs Educators

We are always looking for new educators and are happy to consider you for inclusion.

  • In order to become an educator within WWSewing, you must be approved by our staff. Email us a sample class, so we can determine if you are able to educate clearly to your students.
  • The clubs will be taught initially using photographs and text, similar to a pattern or class taught using printed media.
  • Teaching using patterns or books is restrictive, due to high costs associated with printing. Within the WWSewing community there is no limit to the number of photographs or drawings an educator may post in order to teach the class. In-fact, we encourage you to take as many photos as you need in order to ensure your students can fully understand your lesson.
  • Each educator is not limited to only teaching one club class. Because most educators are multi-talented and are capable of teaching many different types of sewing, quilting and embroidery; you are able to either set up more than one club, based on the content that you want to teach, or to teach more than one class per month within your club.
    • Each month a student pays a membership fee to be included in your club.
    • The montly club dues include 1 class and access to their instructor using the forum or through Private Messenging.
    • If you would like to increase your monthly income, you can offer more than one project per month or open a second club.
    • In order to be an educator on WWSewing.com, you must have 3 classes in at all times. This is to protect you and your students should you have a family emergency that prevents you from teaching for a period of time.
    • In the event that you run out of classes, your club will be suspended until you have brought your classes up to date.
  • Club dues for each student are $5.00US, the educator receives $3.00US and the remaining $2.00US goes into the advertising and maintanance fees associated with the site storing your data and maintaining your club.
  • Club educators do not have to pay in order to be a member of WWSewing and we will work hard to promote your clubs.
  • Each educator is responsible for moderating their own club forum.
  • If you are a manufacturer of products and you would like to teach a club on your products but you would like the club to be free to members, you will be charged $2.00US for each student within your clubs.
  • No educator is allowed to make negative statements about other club instructors. In order to promote your own club, you must only state the good things about your own club. Violators will be fined and or the club will be suspended.

STORE OWNERS / Satalite Club Classes

It is our goal to help strengthen the entire sewing industry, including the Independent Sewing Machine Dealer. We know that part of running a successful sewing machine dealership is offering classes to your customers and we welcome your participation with the MySewingClubs section of WWSewing.com.

  • Offer Classes in your store from participating Educators on WWSewing.com.
  • Be Included in a list on WWSewing.com, showing all stores that teach the clubs within their stores.
  • Participating stores are required to pay the $5.00/student fee based on the attendance you signed up for the class within your store. Any amount over $5.00/student you charge for your class is yours to keep.
  • We will be policing the ethics of all Satellite stores and any violators will be prosecuted under the Copyright Laws. You will sign a contract with WWSewing, which includes the educator that holds the Copyrights for the class.
  • No printing of class projects may be sold in your store, they are only to be used as a class that you teach.
  • Increase revenue by adding classes that require supplies that you can sell in your store.
